About the role#
This internship offers the chance to gain practical experience through projects within the R&D department. You will work under the direction of an R&D Engineer to support daily operations and contribute to product compliance. The role is designed to help you develop your skills while supporting the needs of our clients.
What you'll do#
- Engage in product material compliance activities.
- Verify the accuracy of certification records and update certification databases.
- Coordinate and execute certification projects, including the preparation of document packages.
- Assist electrical and mechanical design engineers in determining compliance requirements.
- Coordinate compliance information with suppliers across engineering and product management teams.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Seek feedback from your manager and team members to improve performance.
- Identify solutions for clients by matching customer needs with company offerings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering in the United States.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Capacity to manage several tasks at once while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong critical thinking skills to analyze situations and develop solutions.
- Ability to collaborate with team members to share information and provide project updates.

- Location: Memphis, Tennessee.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site or hybrid.
- Compensation: $20 to $34 per hour.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Note: This position does not offer relocation assistance or a stipend. Interns must have reliable transportation and reside within a 50-mile radius of the office.
