About the role#
This R&D Mechanical Engineering Co-op position offers practical experience through various projects at ABB. You will work under the direction of an R&D Senior Engineer to support operations and enhance your professional skills. This is a full-time, paid role with a pay range of $20 to $34 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with teams to ensure projects finish on time.
- Identify solutions for clients by matching customer needs with company offerings.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Seek feedback from your manager and peers to improve your performance.
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining high quality standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in Mechanical Engineering within the United States.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to share information and provide project updates.
Location & details#
- This role is on-site in Greenville, South Carolina.
- You must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office.
- You are responsible for your own transportation and commuting arrangements.
- No relocation assistance or stipend is provided.
