About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment. You will work alongside senior technicians to develop your mechanical skills in a shop environment. This role is part time and follows a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing heavy diesel engines, construction, and agriculture equipment.
- Work with senior technicians to learn industry practices.
- Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 2-year degree program for diesel engine, construction, or agricultural equipment mechanics.
- Good academic standing and positive instructor recommendations.
- A positive attitude and a desire to work as a team player.
- Your own set of mechanic tools.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks like bending, kneeling, and climbing.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test, as this is a safety-sensitive role.

- Location: Monticello, Minnesota.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Starting wage: $21.00 per hour.
