About the role#
This summer internship offers students a chance to gain real-world experience across various functions of Zebra Technologies. You will work on assigned projects within focus areas such as Database Administration, IT Enterprise Solutions, Software Licensing, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Digital Automation. The program includes hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities to interact with senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Execute technical deliverables as defined in your specific summer project plan.
- Support key IT projects from multiple perspectives.
- Develop planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Increase your knowledge of technology and the Zebra product portfolio.
- Manage team-based work assignments and collaborate with business contacts.
- Participate in program activities, including social events, community service, and leadership discussions.
- Gain insight into business concepts, tools, and processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, or Information Sciences.
- An anticipated graduation date between May 2027 and May 2029.
- Authorization to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn new tools and methods.
- A commitment to ethical behavior and confidentiality.
- Preferred: Experience with Generative AI tools, proven leadership in academic or extracurricular activities, and strong collaborative skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is hybrid, requiring at least 3 days of in-office attendance per week.
- Locations: Lincolnshire, Illinois, or Holtsville, New York.
