About the role#
Young Life is hiring for a Student Staff position based in Southeast Nashville. This is a full-time, paid role that requires on-site work. As part of our mission, you will focus on evangelism and discipleship while working within our organizational framework. Please note that all employees are required to sign a Statement of Faith and support our Christian mission.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster your spiritual life through prayer, reflection, and study.
- Lead teams and individuals in their own spiritual development.
- Recruit and train new leaders to build a strong team.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain consistent donor care practices.
- Engage in direct ministry, including contact work, club activities, and camping strategies.
- Manage administrative tasks, including expense reports and office support, while adhering to organizational policies.
- Participate in regional and area training to develop ministry skills and personal character.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a college degree in a field such as Psychology, Political Science, Sociology, Communications, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
- Proven relational skills when working with both kids and adults.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality in all professional matters.

- Location: Nashville, Tennessee.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: The salary range for this position is $6,650 to $9,000, depending on your education and experience.
