About the role#
Young Life is seeking a Student Staff member in Lubbock, Texas. This full-time, paid position supports the organization's mission of evangelism and discipleship. Candidates must profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord and subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith. This role involves a mix of direct ministry, leadership development, and administrative support.
What you'll do#
- Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
- Actively engage in all three levels of contact work.
- Participate in leadership with a team to conduct a Young Life club.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain good donor care practices.
- Assist in office administration when necessary and assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, with a preference for majors in Psychology, Communications, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
