About the role#
Young Life is seeking Student Staff to join the team in Lubbock, Texas. This position involves active ministry participation, leadership development, and operational support. Candidates must profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord and subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
- Actively engage in all three levels of contact work.
- Participate in leadership with a team to conduct a Young Life club and discipleship ministry.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain donor care practices.
- Assist in office administration when necessary and assigned.
- Participate in training events and work under the supervision of an area director or mentor to develop ministry skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, preferably in Psychology, Communications, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
