About the role#
The Integrated and Global Solutions team helps multinational companies navigate complex business, cultural, and regulatory environments across different countries. As an intern, you will assist consultants in providing advice on retirement, health, welfare, and compensation programs for global operations. You will gain exposure to real client assignments while working in a collaborative team environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform intricate aspects of client work to support associates and consultants.
- Analyze data, draw conclusions, and present results to project teams.
- Account for pension and benefit costs.
- Perform actuarial valuations for pension and post-retirement benefit plans.
- Assist with data collection, project management, and benefits due diligence.
- Communicate technical results to non-technical client audiences.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, or actuarial science.
- A strong academic record with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to work both independently and on teams.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: Fall 2027 through December 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $27 to $36 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime.
- Benefits: Includes a contributory pension plan and a 401(k) savings plan.
