About the role#
This position is for individuals who have completed the Summer 2026 Investment Internship at WTW and are looking to transition into a full-time Investment Analyst role. You will join a collaborative team of consultants, researchers, and portfolio managers to provide investment advice and solutions to institutional clients. This role offers the opportunity to develop technical skills, network with colleagues, and contribute to the firm's intellectual capital.
What you'll do#
Your responsibilities will depend on your team assignment, which may include:
- Identifying and building portfolios of investment ideas.
- Following manager research processes to form views on investment strategies.
- Constructing portfolios using top-down and asset-class research.
- Supporting client teams with investment strategy, liability hedging, and performance calculations.
- Conducting investment manager searches and monitoring portfolio performance.
- Preparing materials for client meetings.
- Developing technical and soft skills through training and project work.
What you'll need#
- Completion of the Summer 2026 Investment Internship at WTW.
- Progress toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree, with graduation occurring between May 2026 and June 2027.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- A commitment to completing the CFA level 1 professional qualification.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet and presentation software.
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and a general interest in financial markets.
- Ability to work legally in the United States indefinitely without visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with an expectation to be in the office at least three days per week.
- Residency: Must be local to the New York office.
- Compensation: Base salary range of $73,000 to $75,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
