About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship with the Power and Energy team. You will work on-site in Phoenix, Arizona, during the summer of 2027. The program lasts 12 weeks and begins on May 17, 2027. You will work alongside senior staff on real projects to build your technical and professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
- Support the preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
- Help collect and maintain project documentation.
- Complete training on assigned tasks.
- Follow company policies regarding safety, ethics, and resource management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Civil or Mechanical Engineering undergraduate program.
- An anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow direction from mentors and managers.
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office software, and spreadsheets.
