About the role#
The Aviation Group in Dallas is looking for a Civil Engineering Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This role supports our team in planning, designing, and delivering infrastructure projects for airports. You will work on-site and gain exposure to civil engineering design, construction support, and multidisciplinary projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering teams with daily tasks and project duties.
- Help with the research, development, and design of various projects.
- Prepare engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
- Perform basic engineering tasks that reflect your academic curriculum.
- Organize information for use in technical documents and drawings.
- Apply direction from peers and supervisors to complete assigned work.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
- Basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to perform basic engineering calculations.
- Interest in the intersection of civil engineering and airport infrastructure.
- Preference for candidates who have completed 2 years of an engineering program.
