About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineering Co-op Student, you will join our Mechanical & Electrical group in Thornhill. You will contribute to projects that keep buildings and infrastructure running safely and efficiently. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to mechanical system designs that support safe and sustainable building environments.
- Perform calculations, modeling, and analyses to inform engineering decisions.
- Assist in developing drawings and specifications for systems like HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Support coordination between mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural teams.
- Participate in site visits to help identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering program.
- Problem-solving skills to address design challenges.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or other modeling and analysis software.
- A willingness to participate in field or site-based work and follow safety requirements.
- Curiosity to support sustainable design principles.

- Location: Thornhill, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $20.50 - $30.25 per hour.
