About the role#
Join our Aviation team to gain hands-on experience supporting the design and delivery of critical airport electrical infrastructure. You will work alongside engineers and technical specialists on projects that keep airports safe, efficient, and connected. This position is for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and design of electrical systems for airport and aviation infrastructure projects.
- Assist in preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
- Contribute to the design of airfield lighting, power distribution, communications, and related airport systems.
- Participate in field investigations, site reviews, and data collection activities to support project delivery.
- Assist project teams with quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and engineering analyses.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering degree program.
- Eligible to participate in a recognized co-op or internship program.
- Familiarity with electrical engineering principles, power systems, and building or infrastructure design.
- A valid driver's licence and willingness to participate in occasional site visits.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, AGi32, ETAP, or other engineering software is an asset.

- Compensation: $20.50 - $30.25 per hour for Ontario.
