About the role#
WSP is hiring a full-time CFD Analyst Intern for the summer of 2027. You will work within our Property and Buildings team to gain hands-on experience on real projects. This 12-week program begins on May 17, 2027, and offers exposure to senior staff and professional networking. This is a paid, on-site position based in either New York, NY or Milwaukee, WI.
What you'll do#
- Learn the basic principles of CFD analysis.
- Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
- Support the preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
- Help collect and maintain project documentation.
- Complete training on assigned tasks and perform additional duties as business needs arise.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in CFD analysis or Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to travel to local project sites as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office software, and spreadsheets.
- Ability to take direction from leadership and mentors to execute projects.
