About the role#
The Worthington Steel Summer Internship Program is a 12-week experience running from mid-May through early August. This program offers on-the-job experience and professional development opportunities in a team-oriented environment.
What you'll do#
You will spend a significant portion of your time on a business-focused project. This might involve generating ideas for product improvement, creating new processes, or developing guidelines for a specific role within the company. At the end of the program, you will present your project to managers, peers, and executive leaders.
Beyond your core project, you will:
- Build your professional network.
- Participate in classes covering business etiquette, resume writing, interviewing skills, and presentation techniques.
- Take part in a community service component.
