About the role#
The HR Intern will support the HR team and facility managers through various tasks and projects. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship based in Valley City, Ohio.
What you'll do#
- Assist with benefit administration, including answering employee questions, completing forms, managing new hire orientations, and handling the exit process.
- Perform payroll auditing to ensure compliance.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection process, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
- Coordinate programs such as attendance tracking, recognition awards, and company events.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or Communications.
- Basic knowledge of human resources laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employees.
- Customer service focus and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational, detail-oriented, and prioritizing skills.
- Ability to work independently.
