About the role#
The HR Intern will support the human resources team and facility managers by assisting with daily operations and various projects at the Valley City, Ohio location.
What you'll do#
- Assist in benefit administration, including answering employee questions, completing forms, managing new hire orientations, and handling the exit process.
- Perform payroll auditing to ensure compliance.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection process, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
- Coordinate miscellaneous programs such as attendance tracking and recognition awards.
- Handle other duties as assigned by the HR team.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or Communications.
- Basic knowledge of human resources laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with both production and management staff.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Customer service focus and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
