About the role#
The Polaris HR Internship is a 12-week paid summer program for students interested in a career within the powersports industry. You will be placed on a specific HR team based on business needs and your personal interests. This program focuses on building foundational skills for future leadership opportunities. Successful interns may be considered for future roles or our rotational leadership development program.
What you'll do#
- Partner with business leaders to align talent strategies with organizational goals.
- Support frontline manufacturing operations through employee relations, workforce planning, and leader coaching.
- Design and deliver enterprise-wide HR programs, systems, and strategies.
- Participate in a mentorship program and weekly Leader Insight Series learning sessions.
- Collaborate on the Intern Innovation Challenge to present solutions to executive leadership.
- Engage in networking with peers, leaders, and local community service events.
- Attend the Early Talent Summit Week and present your experience during the Internship Showcase.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Graduation date between August 2027 and May 2029.
- Completion of at least two years of university coursework.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to commit to a full 12-week, 40-hour work week.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word.
- Must be a U.S. person (citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee).
- Reliable transportation for daily commuting.
- Openness to geographic mobility and relocation.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- Locations include Medina, MN; Plymouth, MN; Wyoming, MN; Roseau, MN; Rigby, ID; and Huntsville, AL.
- This position is paid and does not offer visa sponsorship.
