About the role#
Join Teton Outfitters as a Technical Apparel/Gear Intern to work on products for the KLIM and 509 brands. You will work alongside team members on projects for powersports customers. Depending on your assignment, you may support product line management, design, development, or materials. You will see how technical gear moves from concept to finished product.
What you'll do#
- Work on product and business priorities to bring gear from concept to market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the design, development, and execution of apparel or hard parts projects.
- Take ownership of a defined product or project deliverable from planning through completion.
- Build visibility through cross-team meetings and opportunities to share your work with leaders.
- Participate in line reviews, material selection, design reviews, and fittings.
- Complete a team-based Intern Challenge and partner with a mentor outside your immediate team.
- Present your projects and key learnings at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Technical Design, Fashion Design, Textile Development, or a related field.
- Intended graduation date between August 2027 and May 2029.
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office tools.
- Previous internship, co-op experience, or relevant project work.
- Strong skills in analysis, creative problem solving, communication, and leadership.
- Must be a U.S. person and not require sponsorship.
- Former employees must be eligible for rehire.
Location & details#
- This is a 12-week, full-time, paid internship located in Rigby, Idaho.
- The program runs from May 2027 to August 2027.
- You must be willing and able to relocate and have reliable transportation for daily commuting.
- You must be able to commit to 40 hours per week.
