About the role#
The Product Marketing MBA Intern will collaborate with the Product Marketing team to define product positioning and messaging. You will perform competitive analysis, assist with go-to-market launch strategies, and track performance. This role is focused on developing and executing marketing initiatives for Workiva products.
What you'll do#
- Compile analyses and build financial models on customer trends and historical data to support product decision-making.
- Conduct performance analysis of existing products, including pricing, adoption, and usage trends.
- Quantify and size markets by identifying competitors, key players, and market trends.
- Perform go-to-market performance reviews, including win/loss analysis, to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the creation and refinement of marketing collateral through research and content curation.
- Lead ad-hoc analyses to support data-driven initiatives and strategic projects.
- Design analytics and visualizations to provide performance insights for senior management.
- Develop templates, tools, and communications to drive consistency in go-to-market processes.
- Build working relationships with sales, pre-sales, product management, enablement, services, and customer success teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a full-time or part-time MBA program or similar graduate degree program.
- Undergraduate degree in Business or a related field of study.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in strategic marketing.
- Experience in the SaaS industry or a similar field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Location & details#
- This is a paid internship.
- The role is available for Winter 2027 and Summer 2027 terms.
- Work modality is remote, with the option to work in a hybrid capacity for those located near an office hub.
