About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the External Communications team at Dayforce. You will support social media operations and public relations activities during a busy period, including the lead-up to our global customer conference, Dayforce Discover. This is a full-time role for the Fall 2026 term, running from September through December.
What you'll do#
- Manage day-to-day social media operations, including content scheduling, publishing coordination, and calendar maintenance.
- Monitor social media channels for engagement, brand mentions, and relevant industry trends.
- Use Sprout Social or similar platforms to schedule and publish content.
- Coordinate with creative and marketing teams to ensure assets and copy are delivered on time.
- Submit and track requests for social media content and creative needs using Smartsheet.
- Assist with drafting media briefs, briefing documents, and other PR materials.
- Build and maintain targeted media lists.
- Monitor news coverage for Dayforce, competitors, and industry trends.
- Support the team with administrative tasks and project coordination during major campaigns.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or Business Administration.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Experience with Sprout Social or similar social media management tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
Location & details#
- This position is fully remote.
- The role is full-time, requiring 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
- This is a paid internship.
