About the role#
Heidelberg Materials seeks a Corporate Communications Intern to join our team in Irving, Texas. This is a full-time, paid internship that offers hands-on experience and mentorship from professionals in the building materials industry. You will work on-site and contribute to projects that support our internal and external communication goals.
What you'll do#
- Create and schedule content for social media channels.
- Support internal communications, including employee emails and digital platforms.
- Develop content for public affairs and community relations programs.
- Research and monitor media coverage.
- Work with cross-functional teams to keep our branding and messaging consistent.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong writing and verbal skills with a focus on detail.
- Experience with social media and digital communication tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
