About the role#
The Brand Design intern contributes to creative projects across both digital and print formats. You will provide design support for a variety of needs, ensuring all materials align with the Workiva brand. This is a paid, full-time opportunity available for Winter or Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop media for print and digital use, such as web assets, social ads, marketing banners, event booths, eBooks, and white papers.
- Execute projects that reflect Workiva brand standards.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Marketing team and provide creative input on ongoing projects.
- Maintain a library of approved iconography.
- Refine media products and presentations to ensure a uniform identity across all materials.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program, preferably in Graphic Design, Marketing, Media Studies, or Art.
- A portfolio website or PDF samples of your work.
- Proficiency in Figma.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Keynote.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time to meet deadlines.
Location & details#
- This role is primarily remote. You may work in a hybrid capacity if you are located near a Workiva office hub.
- Spring 2027 internships begin January 4, 2027, at 15-20 hours per week.
- Summer 2027 internships begin May 17, 2027, at 40 hours per week.
- Compensation is $22.00 per hour.
- Benefits include 401(k) participation with match and paid sick leave.
