About the role#
The Digital Marketing Intern will support the Optical Communications business in executing an omni-channel digital strategy. You will help develop digital stories through email and social campaigns, build content plans, and create documentation for organizational processes.
What you'll do#
- Analyze the customer buying journey on web properties to create and implement a content plan.
- Perform keyword research, on-page optimization, and manage search ads.
- Execute the social media strategy by defining and documenting best practices.
- Collaborate with marketing automation experts to develop email communications.
- Review data and analytics to provide recommendations for improving the digital buying journey.
- Contribute to additional strategic marketing initiatives as they arise.
What you'll need#
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Graduation date of December 2026 or later.
- Experience with digital platforms including SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, social media management, marketing automation, and content management platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

- Location: Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Term: Summer 2027 (10 weeks).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship position.
