About the role#
This graduate internship offers an opportunity to apply academic knowledge to corporate sustainability. You will work with the Director of Global Sustainability and cross-functional teams to research industry trends and reporting frameworks. This role focuses on the blend of research, data analysis, and practical application within sustainability management.
What you'll do#
- Research sustainability best practices and industry trends to inform disclosure strategies.
- Support the development of sustainability reporting and disclosures.
- Prepare reports and presentations on sustainability performance and progress.
- Collect and analyze sustainability-related data.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in finance, legal, audit, communications, and marketing to support sustainability management positioning.
- Contribute to communication materials that enhance the company sustainability narrative.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master's degree program focusing on Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and third-party investor ratings.
- Experience using AI to automate work tasks, including research analysis and prompt generation.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, including Meet, Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Calendar.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to report qualitative and quantitative results.
Location & details#
- Term: Winter 2027 (Starting January 4, 2027).
- Modality: Remote or hybrid, with office access available for those near New York City.
- Status: Paid, part-time internship (15-20 hours per week).
