About the role#
Woolpert is hiring an Aviation Planning Co-op for our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is for the Winter 2027 term. You will work alongside aviation planners and project managers on airport, statewide, and emerging aviation projects. You will gain exposure to the full planning process, from initial data collection to implementation strategies.
What you'll do#
- Collect, organize, and review aviation and transportation data.
- Support existing conditions assessments and planning analyses.
- Assist with GIS, mapping, data analysis, and visualization.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of planning alternatives.
- Support research and technical documentation.
- Assist with recommendations and implementation strategies.
- Support public and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Collaborate with planners, project managers, and other technical professionals.
- Contribute to assignments involving airport master planning, advanced air mobility planning, FAA research, statewide aviation system planning, and aviation economic impact studies.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment at an accredited college or university, preferably at least sophomore status.
- Pursuing a degree in Urban/Regional/Transportation Planning, GIS, Geography, Civil Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- An interest in aviation-related infrastructure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional multitasking and time management skills.

- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
