About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in operations consulting. You will work with consultants to help manufacturing clients improve their productivity, quality, and overall profitability. You will gain exposure to process improvement, Lean methodologies, and data analytics while working directly with client teams.
What you'll do#
- Analyze manufacturing and supply chain processes to find inefficiencies, waste, and bottlenecks.
- Develop process maps and support value stream mapping activities.
- Collect and analyze operational and financial data to identify performance trends.
- Review key metrics like throughput, inventory, quality, on-time delivery, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
- Participate in client interviews, stakeholder meetings, and continuous improvement events.
- Assist in creating reports, dashboards, and presentations for client deliverables.
- Support change management and implementation planning, including the evaluation of automation and technology.
- Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and subject matter experts.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.

- Modality: Hybrid (requires regular work in the office, at home, and at client sites).
