About the role#
We are looking for a Human Resources Intern to join our team at the Stuart, Florida facility. This role focuses on supporting daily HR operations, recruitment, and employee engagement. You will work closely with site leadership to foster a positive work environment and assist with various HR projects throughout the Fall 2026 semester.
What you'll do#
- Manage recruitment tasks including posting job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
- Facilitate new hire orientations and help team members get started.
- Spend time on the manufacturing floor to connect with employees and address their daily questions.
- Support employee relations by participating in conflict resolution and acting on feedback from engagement surveys.
- Partner with site leaders to identify training needs and coordinate skill-building programs.
- Maintain accurate employee records, update the HRIS, and prepare data reports.
- Help organize employee events and promote wellness initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Current pursuit of a bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or a previous internship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and familiarity with HR systems.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Ability to perform work subject to ITAR and EAR regulations.
Location & details#
- Location: Stuart, Florida.
- Modality: This is an on-site position.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Compensation: $18 to $27 per hour.
- Physical requirements: You must be able to sit for long periods, walk the shop floor, and lift up to 15 pounds. Personal protective equipment like safety glasses and shoes is required on the shop floor. Occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary.
