About the role#
Whitcraft Group is seeking an Engineering Intern for a 12-week program starting in late May 2027. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Stuart, Florida. You will work across departments such as Quality, Overhaul, TCF, and LM2500 to gain hands-on experience in aerospace component manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside engineers, technical leads, and shop floor personnel.
- Support projects focused on continuous improvement throughout the facility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Quality, Safety, and Operations.
- Complete other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. full-time without sponsorship.
- Ability to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Self-motivation, resourcefulness, and a positive attitude.
- Preferred: CAD or NX skills.
- Preferred: Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing, including machining, welding, coatings, or heat treatment.
Location & details#
- Location: Stuart, Florida (On-site).
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Physical requirements: Must be able to move around a manufacturing plant while wearing Personal Protective Equipment. You must be able to sit, stand, and walk frequently. The role requires lifting up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds. You will also spend periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
