About the role#
Wharton-Smith, Inc. is hiring a Project Engineer Intern for our Water division. This role supports the project team with the planning, organization, and completion of construction projects. You will work from our regional office in Charlotte, North Carolina.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Project Manager and Project Engineer with daily tasks.
- Review project plans and confer with management.
- Evaluate bids submitted by contractors.
- Enforce safety procedures and regulations to maintain a clean working environment.
- Perform data entry and contribute to general team goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- Ability to work on-site in Charlotte.
- Status as a qualified candidate.
