About the role#
Wharton-Smith, Inc. is hiring a Field Engineer Intern to work out of our Tampa office. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling term. You will support our project teams in planning, organizing, and completing construction projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Project Manager and Project Engineer with daily tasks and project planning.
- Review project plans and confer with management on progress.
- Evaluate bids submitted by contractors.
- Enforce safety rules and regulations to keep the job site clean and secure.
- Perform data entry and help the team reach project goals.
What you'll need#
- You are a qualified candidate currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering.

- This role is based in Tampa, Florida.
- Work is performed on-site.
