About the role#
As a Supply Chain Engineering intern, you will support the APX Supply Chain organization. Your work focuses on the delivery of AP1000 nuclear plant equipment and components. You will report to the Delivery Stream Manager at the Cranberry Township facility.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering and supply chain teams in the planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities.
- Analyze technical, quality, operational, and performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Assist with data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking for suppliers, schedules, and operational metrics.
- Participate in supplier management and project review meetings.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, presentations, and process records.
- Collaborate with teams across Engineering, Procurement, Supplier Quality, Supplier Performance, Logistics, and Project Management.
- Assist with root cause analysis, corrective action tracking, and continuous improvement projects.
- Learn and apply nuclear quality, safety, compliance, and business process requirements.
- Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives for APX Supply Chain operations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, Aerospace, Civil, Environmental, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Completion of your Sophomore year of college.
- Willingness to travel to support emergent project issues or supplier development.

- Location: Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: $25.40 to $29.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
