About the role#
Amrize is hiring an Operations Management Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a 10-week, paid, full-time position based in Moorhead, Minnesota. You will work on-site, gaining practical experience in the aggregate construction materials division.
What you'll do#
- Learn operational procedures, production activities, and product knowledge at aggregate sites.
- Collect and analyze data to help develop strategies for ongoing projects.
- Work with operators to understand the maintenance and operation of heavy equipment.
- Collaborate with the geology, engineering, and safety departments.
- Follow and promote health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Apply your skills to daily operations and team goals.
- Present your project findings and contributions to the executive leadership team at the end of the summer.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for Construction Management, Concrete Industry Management, Finance, Business Management, or Civil Engineering.
- Strong academic performance and a solid understanding of engineering principles.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A proactive approach to new challenges and a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability and willingness to spend significant time working in the field.
- Geographic flexibility to work at various sites.
Location & details#
- Location: Moorhead, Minnesota.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts.
- Work Environment: You will work in various aggregate environments, including quarries and construction sites, which involve exposure to outdoor weather and moving equipment.
- Transportation: You are responsible for your own transportation to and from worksites.
