About the role#
The Electrical Engineering Intern works with the Engineering team to support aircraft modifications and repairs. You will help create and update drawings using CAD software for Avionics, Maintenance, and Interiors projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist Engineering teams with CAD drawings.
- Gather information to complete drawings for Avionics, Maintenance, and Interiors.
- Update drawings based on redlines.
- Handle other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited four-year Electrical Engineering program.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Ability to read and understand installation manuals.
- Basic understanding of electrical prints and symbols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow through on tasks.
- Ability to manage change and deadlines.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Ability to obtain an airport-issued security badge.

- Work environment: Primarily indoors in a temperature-controlled office setting, requiring sitting for 6-8 hours daily.
