About the role#
Western Aircraft is seeking a Business Process Analyst Intern to join the Parts and Supply Chain Management team in Boise, Idaho. You will work closely with the Director of Parts to map existing workflows, identify bottlenecks, and develop solutions to improve efficiency. This is a full-time, on-site role for students or recent graduates with a focus on process optimization.
What you'll do#
- Research and map current company processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand existing workflows.
- Automate processes using software and AI tools.
- Recommend improvements to current systems.
- Write Standard Operating Procedures.
What you'll need#
- At least three years of college experience in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Economics.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, including spreadsheets, macros, and databases.
- Experience with AI tools, generative web development, and data mining.
- Ability to interpret aircraft manuals and navigate project tracking software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Ability to obtain an airport-issued security badge.
