    About the role#

    This position is based within the Technology branch at CATSA Headquarters. You will work full-time hours for the Fall 2026 term, specifically from September 30 to December 31, 2026. This role is a hybrid opportunity.

    What you'll do#

    • Support invoice processing by validating, tracking, and maintaining records.
    • Assist with financial and contract administration, including documentation and reporting.
    • Analyze current business processes to find inefficiencies and support optimization.
    • Compile and maintain operational and financial data using Microsoft Excel and other business tools.
    • Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a college diploma or university degree program in business administration, engineering, or a relevant field.
    • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
    • Knowledge of data analytics or business intelligence tools like Power BI.
    • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, process mapping, or workflow analysis.
    • Exposure to programming or scripting languages like Python, VBA, or SQL.
    • Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, work in teams or independently, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
    • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a reliability security clearance.
    • You must be a student currently enrolled in a program and planning to return to studies in the next academic year.

    • Location: Ottawa, Ontario.
    • Work Modality: Hybrid.
    • Term: Fall 2026 (September 30 to December 31).
    • Schedule: 37.5 hours per week.
    • Language: English essential.
