About the role#
This is a full-time internship based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for the summer of 2027. You will work with a team of engineers to support the operation, maintenance, and optimization of the Milwaukee Valley Power Plant. This position offers hands-on experience and mentorship from experienced engineers within the Power Generation department.
What you'll do#
- Troubleshoot operation and maintenance issues.
- Assist in managing small projects.
- Support equipment reliability and performance optimization.
- Provide electrical and plant control support.
- Perform data analysis, drawing reviews, and equipment health monitoring.
- Ensure all work adheres to relevant codes and standards.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related major, with a graduation date after July 2027.
- Minimum GPA of 2.8.
- High School Diploma, GED, or HSE.
- Valid driver's license.
- Related school project or internship experience is preferred.
