About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the utility sector in Houston. You will support engineering teams across divisions such as Transmission, Distribution, Substation, System Protection, and Distribution Planning. This role allows you to apply academic concepts to projects that impact utility customers.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers with projects across multiple operational areas.
- Maintain and update Access databases and Excel spreadsheets to track project status.
- Compile and deliver project completion data to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Valid driver's license.
