About the role#
Warner Bros. Discovery is offering Documentary Production internships for the Fall 2026 term in Atlanta, Georgia. These are paid, hybrid positions requiring 16 to 24 hours of work per week. The program duration is 10 weeks, running from October 12th to December 18th.
What you'll do#
- Pitch story ideas and assist in the research and development of shows.
- Support editorial staff by setting up shoots and gathering necessary video and editorial materials.
- Conduct research, including logging, transcribing, and organizing archival footage and visual elements.
- Perform fact-checking and gather industry data.
- Screen documentary films, write coverage, and provide feedback.
- Prepare pitches for potential shows, characters, or experts.
What you'll need#
- Must be a rising Junior or rising Senior undergraduate student (18 years or older) actively enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and be in academic good standing.
- Strong interest in documentaries, news, and long-form storytelling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Psychology, or Political Science.
