About the role#
CNN is offering multiple Fact Check internship opportunities for the Fall 2026 term. This program provides students with hands-on experience in news and media, focusing on editorial integrity and research. Interns will work in a hybrid capacity for 16-24 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Fact check scripts, digital articles, and long-form stories for accuracy.
- Review content to ensure fairness and editorial balance.
- Field editorial requests from CNN correspondents globally.
- Assist with tracking projects and research tasks.
What you'll need#
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program.
- Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and be in academic good standing.
- Pursuing a career in journalism, with a strong interest in domestic and international news.
- Possess solid reporting, research, and communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
