About the role#
CNN Field Production captures events and documents news to illustrate stories for CNN. This internship provides an opportunity to work on the front lines of history in the Washington, DC area. Interns will work in a hybrid capacity, contributing 16 to 24 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Assist CNN Photojournalists and Directors of Photography with news coverage in and around Washington, DC.
- Learn to record events and produce stories that meet high ethical, aesthetic, editorial, and technical standards.
What you'll need#
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior actively enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Maintain academic good standing with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, or Media Studies.
- Passionate about news and self-motivated.
- Able to multitask and function effectively in a high-volume environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
