About the role#
This is a full-time Student Worker position at the Twisted Taco location at Middle Tennessee State University for the Summer 2026 term. You will work on-site to support food preparation and service operations.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items following standardized recipes.
- Store food properly according to safety standards.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations including prep tables and service counters.
- Serve food to customers and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Replenish food items and maintain stock levels.
- Maintain a positive demeanor while interacting with guests and co-workers.
- Adhere to safety policies, including food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ensure the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a major such as Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Human Resources, Nutrition, Public Health, Kinesiology, or Psychology.
- Guest service skills.
- Ability to obtain or hold a food safety certification.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear uniforms or Personal Protective Equipment as required.
