About the role#
Warner Bros. Discovery is offering multiple Documentary internship opportunities for the Fall 2026 term. These roles are based in New York City and provide hands-on experience within the entertainment and media industry. You will work alongside production teams to support various documentary projects and development initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Gather video and organize visual elements for production teams.
- Prepare and organize interviews for transcription.
- Conduct research and write coverage for documentary films.
- Draft decks, loglines, and show descriptions.
- Assist Production Executives with daily creative and administrative needs.
- Track internal and external ideas throughout the development phase.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an accredited college or university degree program as a rising Junior or Senior.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Previous experience in long-form journalism.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- A strong interest in documentaries and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Current authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: Fall 2026 (October 12th to December 18th).
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with expectations to be in the office on a regular cadence.
- Hours: 16 to 24 hours per week.
- Compensation: $19 per hour.
