About the role#
This internship focuses on product validation within the Volvo Group Trucks Technology division. You will work with the Complete Vehicle team to verify and validate products and services through hands-on testing and data analysis. This role is based in Greensboro, North Carolina, for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Conduct performance validation tests on prototypes and production vehicles to simulate real-world conditions.
- Compile feedback from field test customers.
- Analyze test data using Python, Power BI, and Excel to identify trends and technical issues.
- Partner with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to troubleshoot problems.
- Contribute to root cause analysis and develop corrective actions to improve product reliability.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science degree program.
- Completion of at least 30 semester hours of undergraduate coursework.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment.
