About the role#
The CampX team drives technology and business innovation for the Volvo Group. As an intern, you will work with senior managers and technical experts to support innovation business needs, including new business creation and intellectual property projects. You will report directly to the Head of CampX.
What you'll do#
- Support innovation business needs and assist in the preparation of business cases.
- Research and map out economic areas, clusters, and network organizations to identify potential technology partners.
- Apply your skills in Microsoft tools including SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Automate, and Dynamics CRM.
- Represent CampX through written and verbal communication.
- Assist with project execution and startup ecosystem management.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Business, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering degree program at an accredited school.
- Completion of at least 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
- Previous innovation internship experience is acceptable in place of specific degree requirements.
- Knowledge of business aspects and the ability to work in a challenging environment.

- Location: Greensboro, North Carolina.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Up to 30 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid position with an hourly range of $17.00 to $46.00, depending on your academic classification, degree, and location.
