About the role#
Sarah Cannon Research Institute is hiring Data Entry Interns for an 8-week program during the summer of 2027. This role offers hands-on experience in clinical research operations. You will support the accuracy and integrity of research data, which helps advance oncology treatments and improves patient outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Enter and update clinical and operational data into internal systems and databases.
- Review data for completeness and consistency, while resolving any discrepancies.
- Organize, maintain, and digitize research documentation and records.
- Support data validation and quality control processes to ensure compliance with research protocols.
- Generate reports and summaries to assist team decision-making.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Biology, Health Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate work.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
- An interest in clinical research, healthcare, or data management.
