About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship program within the Global Supply Chain organization at Northrop Grumman. You will work on-site in Palmdale, California, throughout the summer of 2027. This role involves supporting functional areas such as finance and purchasing while gaining practical experience in supply chain operations.
What you'll do#
- Contact vendors and transportation companies to ensure materials and equipment arrive on schedule.
- Identify delivery delays and work with purchasing and manufacturing teams to expedite requirements.
- Collect, track, and verify data from multiple sources.
- Compile and analyze data to create reports, presentations, and charts.
- Design and improve processes to help workflow efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in an undergraduate or graduate program.
- An expected graduation date after August 2027.
- A major in Global Supply Chain, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for at least 10 weeks during the summer of 2027.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
