About the role#
This is an unpaid SkillBridge internship designed for transitioning active-duty US military personnel. The program provides an opportunity to gain professional experience within the final 180 days of active-duty service. Interns work on meaningful projects alongside mentors and senior leadership, with a focus on roles that align with existing military training and education. This position is based in plant operations with a focus on quality support.
What you'll do#
- Perform a variety of activities to support functional areas in quality control.
- Gather, record, track, and verify data from multiple sources.
- Compile, review, and analyze data to generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, and presentations.
- Manage and update company forms, including creating new forms and revising existing ones.
- Maintain the forms database and provide weekly review reports.
- Review nuclear procedures for formatting and manage their publication on internal sites.
- Resolve routine questions regarding company forms and procedures while interacting with employees at various levels.
What you'll need#
- Must be active-duty military personnel within the final 180 days of active-duty service.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Education and experience levels are dependent on the specific Program of Instruction.
- US citizenship is required.
