About the role#
Foxconn Industrial Internet is hiring a Supply Chain PM Intern for a capstone project in Houston, Texas. You will work with the Supply Chain planning team to improve commit accuracy for the Air-Cooled product line. This is a project-based role where you will own the analysis, design a gating framework, and build a simulation model to improve operational reliability. You will present your findings and tools to Supply Chain leadership at the end of the program.
What you'll do#
- Map the end-to-end commit process for the AC product line.
- Analyze historical data to establish baseline commit accuracy metrics.
- Perform root cause analysis to categorize failures by constraint type.
- Create a structured pre-commit gating framework and checklist.
- Develop a commit simulation model to run clear-to-build scenario testing.
- Deliver a final report and implementation roadmap to the planning team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and simulation.
- Ability to explain data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Relevant coursework in production planning, operations research, or quantitative methods is a plus.

- Schedule: Full-time hours are not required, with an expected commitment of 8-16 hours per week.
