About the role#
Foxconn Industrial Internet is hiring a Software Engineering Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This is a part-time position based in Houston, Texas. You will work 20 hours per week over a 13-week period, from August 31 to November 27, 2026. This role focuses on improving the FTX website through front-end and back-end development tasks.
What you'll do#
- Develop and improve features for the FTX website homepage and landing pages.
- Build easy-access link functionality to help internal users navigate the platform more efficiently.
- Design features that track and display previously visited URLs for individual users.
- Work with IT and business stakeholders to identify user needs and project priorities.
- Test new features to ensure they function correctly and remain consistent across different user groups.
- Document technical designs and implementation details to support knowledge transfer.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with familiarity with web frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong commitment to writing clean, testable, and well-documented code.
- Ability to manage workstreams independently while communicating clearly with technical and non-technical teams.
- Authorization to work in the United States. We support CPT authorization for eligible F-1 visa students.
