About the role#
Foxconn Industrial Internet is hiring a Data Visualization & Analytics Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This part-time position is based in Houston, Texas. You will work 20 hours per week for 13 weeks, from August 31 to November 27, 2026. This role focuses on turning raw data into clear insights to help our engineering and operations teams make informed decisions.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards to provide real-time visibility into manufacturing and operational metrics.
- Translate business and operational requirements into effective data visualizations.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and IT teams to identify reporting gaps and new data needs.
- Standardize key performance metrics and reporting methodologies across departments.
- Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency across all reports before they are deployed.
- Create and maintain documentation for dashboard development and data sources.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Data Science, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with SQL and data querying techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
