About the role#
This Summer 2028 Audit Internship provides an introduction to the public accounting profession. You will work alongside audit professionals across various levels to build a foundation for your career. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Tampa, Florida.
What you'll do#
- Support multiple supervisors across a variety of client engagements.
- Apply your accounting knowledge to client work using firm technology.
- Shadow audit professionals to observe daily operations.
- Participate in team building, training initiatives, and research projects.
- Attend firm social functions, including community service projects and office outings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a junior or senior in an accredited accounting or business administration program, with two years remaining until graduation.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, which includes frequent same-day travel.
